Fi Pope Bulling Interview

I'm super excited to share this talented and extraordinary author interview with you all. Her writing style is uniquely different than most writers and that's what drew me to her work. She inspired me to not ever give up on my talent and passion as a writer and that it's okay to take a break. I hope reading about her recent works and some of her background inspires you.

  1. My question: What do you do before you write? Fi response: I just do normal everyday things like housework or go to work. Quite often I will write on my way to work. It's surprising what inspiration triggers your imagination !
  2. My question: What kind of poetry do you enjoy reading? Fi response: I love to read humourous poetry. Anything that captures me and moves me.
  3. My question: How did you start writing? Fi response: I wrote my first poetry piece when I was about 7, it's featured in my first book, "Oh My Days". Tiptoe through the tulips slip on a slug and smile. Sit upon a porcupine shoot in the air for half a mile. Then I stopped for quite a few years due to life in general and time goes by. I started writing again just last march. Somebody reminded me of what I can do. And it went from there. 5 books later I am here!
  4. My question: Where does the most of your inspiration come from? Fi response: Inspiration just pops up. I was born in Penzance, Cornwall, UK. So growing up there was the ocean and the countryside. My parents house is a cottage in the country next door to a Farm. Now I live with my husband and kids in Hampshire so the inspiration is everywhere.
  5. My question: What's one of your favorite poems? Fi response: I love poetry by Pam Ayres. My most favourite poem is, I carry your heart with me by EE. Cummings. Follow her on Instagram to see more of her outstanding work. https://instagram.com/fi_pope_...
